I suppose it would take far longer to write a framework rather than just getting my XZY feature to work.

X-Plane has an UDP ouput system, which is limited in terms of number of variables (data refs). Also the byte conversion thing is a little hard for most people to use.

Then there are all these plugins from outside developers, SASL, Pyton script, UIPCX, flyWithLUA and more. Sometimes working sometimes not.
Respect for the people making those for free, but it would be very nice if X-plane had a simple native way of data output/input directly linked to datarefs. Based on simple text or string and an UDP TCP server or/and plain textfile.
