Thank you Ben, can’t understand why I did not figured out that with draped polygons, that will for sure work, thx for the tip.

I will also check out the library once again for those pavement tones!

Hi Tom,
I can’t make a tutorial about placement of autogen polygons; WED cannot place AGS or AGBs. You can place autogen points and objects, but I don’t think you need a tutorial for this; OBJ placement has been in WED for a year or two now.

Points 2 and 3 can be addressed with draped polygons – in fact, multiple pavement ‘tones’ are already available in the library as polygons.

So here is a genuine chance to ask some questions about WED development!

1. While developing and correcting all airports in Norway accordring to valid AIP I’ve notice there is now option to set frequency for ATIS (Automatic Terminal Information Service). The options now current may be the same, but I do not think it is. Could this be implemented for future use?

2. Also I wonder if there is a way to set Asphalt type to differ between light and dark type.. As in many airports there are light (not squared concrete on apron i.e) and lighter asphalt on top of darker asphalt.. I would be awsome if we could use asphalt and not concrete for those spesific areas that would use such a thing.

3. Last but a least, I really would like to see an option to include a “RWY AHEAD” function in WED, either by a line feature, facade, poly etc..
(in case you do not know what it is, here is a picture http://tinyurl.com/kn828x3)

PS..
Could you make an tutorial video on the YouTube channel with how to place autogen, objects and/or poly in WED, what to do, what works, what does not work and what to look for etc.
