This only applies to aircraft. For scenery, typically the amount of VRAM and batches for an object are relatively low, so picking them off with user code on a per-object basis isn’t a win.

I am a new scenery developer in the x-plane 10 world. Now I am article by article trying to read the entire blog, so I might have missed things, but, is this object killing also applicable to sceneries? Like “if the hangar door is closed, kill interior”?

This only disables drawing – the entire physics model runs all of the time. Most of CPU time is spent on drawing.

I thought .X-Plane needed the whole external model
For its flight physics ??.
