Update: this driver bug has since been fixed – see here.
If your X-Plane screen looks like this with HDR on, you may be running the new Catalyst 13-12 drivers. If you can, back up to the Catalyst 13-9 drivers to get back HDR mode.
(If you have a really new AMD card, you might not be able to run 13-9 – in that case please turn off HDR until AMD has a fix.)
This is a continuation of this problem – what’s new is that the 13-12 drivers are WHQL drivers and not just beta drivers.
Thanks to the users who reported this to me. I try to keep an eye on all driver combinations, but the help is appreciated!
A few questions.
1: AMD has released 13.12, is this HDR glitch still in the driver? or has it been resolved,
and
2: I expect my copy of XPX to arrive tomorrow, and I expect my HD7790 OC to arrive this coming Friday, I cant find a lotta debate on this card online, and im curious if you or anyone might know what kinda improvement ill see over my current 5750, Im not particularly well off, so I have to spend what I can afford. 🙁
And before anyone mentions it, I am anti Nvidia, I have hand a slew of nightmarish problems with that company hardware wise, including but not limited to brand new cards literally melting, and Nvidia refusing to replace. Anyhow, Just curious 🙂
Oh bloody hell .. I didnt see that this was about the 13.12 >< sry about that.. Still my 2nd question stands
Dead? Just a few more mutations and it’s fully alive, to put an end to our boredom.
