X-Plane 11.26 release candidate 2 is available for users who check “get betas” in our installer or who select public betas on Steam. It’s just like RC1, but without the giant 60 nm jump when the DSFs load.

  1. Thank you! I had pretty much narrowed down the CTD in 11.25r2 to DSFs which seemed to be backed up by 11.26r1 teleporting instead of crashing. Good to know that my PC wasn’t the cause! Flew this morning in VR, it was amazing 😀

    1. I’ve started getting CTDs (I have Ortho4XP scenery). I’m disabling custom tiles 1 by 1 to find out which one’s causing the issue.

  2. i would like to vote for a feature (shaders again)
    since the anticipated r11.30 is going to have a new shader system – that is not going to be handy for third-parties to build a plugin that can sustain moving sands along the way…

    Would it be possible for x-plane team to adopt the “default xVision parameter tweak values” right into the core out-of-the-box shader system.

  3. Hi! yes for corrections but there is tired of losing the fps. For Scotland in zoom 17 we have 26 tiles to load in xplane we arrive painfully at 23 25 fps and the VR is out of service. My question would it be possible to choose the texture of Laminar or ortho4xp v130?

  4. I have had two crashes in 30 minutes, the first after being ignored by tower at KPIT and trying to cancel and re-file a flight plan. The second in the air at 23000 ft about 15 minutes after departure from KPIT going east. 11.25 was rock solid for me, but I think I’ll have to wait until 11.27 or 11.26r3 to fly again.

  5. impossible to leave xplane in VR position, we have to go through the Windows Manager? Always passing VR are we forced to launch oculus? a big retarder for the fps !!
